Mike Peters (host), a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die,Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contestand Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske, and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters producesshows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
Josh Wallenstein, a Binghamton native, has been performing stand-up comedy since 2018. While living in California, Josh performed at Levity Live, Ventura Harbor Comedy Club and Flappers Comedy Club. He’s also performed at the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City and the Cider Mill Stage in Endicott. Josh was active in the theatre department at Binghamton High School and will star in the play “Buyer & Cellar” in April 2022. He works as a teaching assistant at a local elementary school and is currently pursuing his teaching certification.
Sara Shipley is a quick-rising star within the Upstate, N.Y., comedy scene. The 2021 winner of Rochester’s Funniest Person, Shipley is a performance triple threat -- improvisor, actor and comedian. She’s opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including April Macie, Tammy Pescatelli and Jim Norton. She performs stand-up regularly at Comedy at the Carlson in Rochester and at the Focus Theater with The Urge Improv team.
Dario Joseph (headliner) got his start in comedy in 2011 and worked all through New York City for four years before coming back to Rochester. Joseph has opened for Brian Posehn, Ari Shaffir, Kurt Braunholer and Iliza Shlesinger and performs anywhere he can. He was Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2014 and was a Cleveland Comedy Festival Finalist in 2016. Joseph produces shows in the Rochester area and he’s the co-host of the podcast Refined Taste with Dario and Chris.
